Euro Spec Angel Eyes

I did it! I finally got my angel eyes, and they are Euro spec, so no AMBER! Xenon conversion is next. Here are some pix.

They are in reverse order, new ones first then old.

It really makes your car look a lot more modern! Amber makes cars look old. Why is it that in America every time BMW comes out with a new car they revert back to amber and then go to clear/white in LCI models?

Looks good. I am about to do this same setup as well.

If you don't have the xenon conversion yet, are you using regular halos in the low beam projector?

The set for both headlights was 170 all together. Housing and all. The grills I did myself with black spray paint I found in the garage, it was nice. I know it will peel off eventually, but by then I will hopefully have the real ones in.

With eBay lights, the real questions that I would have:

1. Can the angel eye bulbs be changed out for different types/colors (or if they burn out?!)

2. Light output compared to to the comparable OEM.

3. Aiming lights/fitment (fitment at least looks good on these pics)

4. Long term quality, so leaks/condensation buildup, bulbs going out, the tendancy some have to scuff badly.
