Of interest to forum members in Toronto and the GTA, perhaps others.
There is an article in today's,Feb.2/13 Wheels section of the Toronto Star which outlines the difficulties an owner had in resolving an issue with this dealership and BMW. I suspect that had the owner not gone public, it probably would never had been settled to his satisfaction since he has been fighting the issue since May 2012.
Problem relates to a Mini power steering pump failure(twice)that the owner paid to have fixed. This problem was later the subject of a recall and that is when the owner tried to get reimbursement for his costs.
Unfortunate that the owner had to endure this kind of obstinacy to settle a valid claim.

As noted on the Canada forum, I am sorry for the incorrect posting on the classified forum. I will assure you that it was not intentional. However, on the positive side, it sure as hell is more interesting than looking at all those "new" listings which are nothing more than BUMPS_BUMPS_BUMPS on and on.

Budds is somewhat alright ... ONLY if you buy your bimmer or mini from them. Otherwise, they will treat yo like crap and the typical run around.

Many other posts by different members had posted their experiences in the past.

+1 .. never had a good experience with maranello, ive given them a few chances but their CS has been pathetic. they were the first bmw dealership i went to when wanting to buy my car and they were the least helpful dealership ive ever seen.

i agree with you guys about maranello .. however.. i think their sales dept isn't as good as their parts/service department. i recently had my first service done @ maranello and they treated me very well. they made sure that i was taken care of and got the job done. i've heard many good things about maranello's part/service dept. maybe i just got lucky?

Parts department is probably the only good thing about Maranello.

Only good guy at that dealership is Mike (at parts department). Staraight up guy who knows his stuff about cars. And loves to help out fellow enthusiasts.

As for the Service and Sales department those people are pure snakes.
