Windshield wipers

Just gotten my windshield wipers replaced at end of Jan and it seems like they are still streaking. Left wiper streaks and right wiper still leaves a patch.

I cleaned the windshield wipers and the windshield glass with Windex and the streaking still persisted.

Called service advisor and was told to bring it in again.

My question is this: don't they test replacement parts at the shop before they release the vehicle back to me? A simple one trip maintenance is now a 2 trip affair. The Ultimate Service is no longer so anymore. Disappointed.

If you don't want to take it back, clean the blades and give the windshield a clay bar treatment; that should remove any gunk you have on it.
