Silverstone Metallic II Paint
I have a quick question,
I am having my front bumper resprayed/painted and filling the holes from the front plate, and also my rear bumper painted as well. I am worried the paint which is silverstone metallic would be off compared to older painted body panels. Anyone have any experience with this color getting stuff like the bumpers repainted? Is this something I should do or be just leave the bumper holes and scratches? Thanks |

I just had my rear bumper replaced and painted SSII (some dumbass rear-ended me at 10mph), and the paint looks perfect. I was worried about the same thing but just go to reputable repair/collision specialist that has experience painting and you should be fine. I will say, the place I went works on Ferraris/Maseratis/Porsches and I went through the other guys insurance, so it wasn't my money. After reviewing the invoice, for painting they charged 4.7 hours @ $40.00/hr making the paint labor total $188.00. Not terrible.
SSII FTW
