Package upgrade still possible after purchase?

So my Other was currently getting her 135i built and delivery date was aug.. Really wanted her to get the 1M but it seemed that all the 1M's were accounted for. Turns out a local dealer in the boondocks received a canceled order. But it's the basic package. Picked up the vehicle today and asked the dealership about the upgrade options. well just to keep it short they tried suggesting that it's a race car LoL and it's doesn't come with those options like it was non existence. Anyways I really want her to get the package that includes navigation. Is this option still applicable thru BMW?

It will be extremely expensive to add on any kind of OEM package after the car has already been built. Better off going Aftermarket.
