maaan, I have nothing good to say about BMW of Mt. Laurel

I am just amazed, yet another "wonderful" experience at my neighborhood BMW dealership. First off, a few months back I took my 07 335 in for service at Mt. Laurel because I was hearing a "squeaking" sound at low speeds (under 10mph) but not when braking. Upon investigation, they were unable to find any issues nor reproduce the issue. Strange because it seemed to be happening very frequent prior to me bringing it in. In any case, when picking up the car, they recommended I change my front brake pads and quoted me over $500...just to replace my front pads. CRAZY! A few weeks later, the noise began to annoy me, so I took it to BMW of Turnersville and they happened to find some "spots" on my rotors, causing the noise. They replaced both my pads and rotors, UNDER MY WARRANTY. Let me just say that was was extremely disappointed that Mt. Laurel would even provide me a quote KNOWING brake replacement was covered under my warranty. This single occurrence steered me away from going there for service in the future.

Soo, today, I figured I'd go there to pick up a part because its literally 10 minutes from my home and I didn't have the time to drive 20 + minutes to Turnersville. Currently I only have 2 TPMS on my summer wheels, and therefore I have the TPMS malfunction light coming on at startup, which I wanted to fix. I already have the other 2 sensors, just need the valve stems. Anyway, I went to parts and the guy tells me they have the part in stock for $38.xx each. I'm thinking, WOW, that's a lil pricey, but I need 'em so oh well. I purchased 2 of them and left. While driving home, I'm thought to myself "hmm let me give Turnersville a buzz to see what they cost there." I call Turnersville parts, read the part number off the box to the guy and he tells me they are $17.xx each!! That's more than HALF the cost of what BMW of Mt. Laurel was selling them for. Now, I'm just pissed! Considering the huge difference in price, I go back to talk with the parts manager and tell him that I just purchased valve stems for $38 each when they are $17 each at Turnersville. The good thing was, he had no issues with matching the price and refunding me the $45. I l just can't seem to understand how and why Mt. Laurel is soo much more expensive then Turnersville when, IMHO, Turnersville is far superior to Mt. Laurel as far as Level of Service.

Last week, I took my car to Turnersville for an alignment, which cost somewhere around $137 with tax. So for the hell of it, I called Mt. Laurel today to see what they charge for an alignment on an '07 335......$169 plus tax. That sealed the deal right there, never again will I take my car to Mt. Laurel.

Ohh and btw, while I was there at Mt. Laurel, I overheard one of the SA's talking to a customer. I heard the adviser tell the customer that they needed new rear brakes on their 7-series, and were quoted $950!!!!! Are you effin kidding me??

Their prices for service and parts are way too much...just sayin..

I can't believe the low quality service of some BMW dealers, not to mention the price differences on parts. I actually drive about 10-15 minutes further to Circle BMW in order avoid BMW of Freehold, so I get where you're coming from.

Freehold is the biggest rip off BMW dealer in the nation.
