Dashcam install: 2DED code.

Recently installed a Blackvue DR650GW-2CH dashcam in my car. I used the Motopark Multi-Safer (essentially a different version of the Blackvue Power Magic Pro), with constant power tapped into fuse 73 (door locks) and the accessory power tapped into the homelink fuse (I also have my radar detector tapped on the same fuse).

Everytime I park my car overnight, I get the 2DED code the next day. My Multi-Safer settings are set at 12.2V, 6 Hours, which is the highest voltage cutoff point and the shortest amount of time.

I did the following:

1) Thought maybe my parking mode sensitivity is too high, so I reduced it to the minimum setting above OFF. That didn't fix it.
2) So I checked out the G sensor settings. Looking at my recorded parking files, I noticed none of the G sensor readings went above the set thresholds, so the my G sensor settings aren't being triggered too often.
3) Next, I reduced the recording format from FHD/30fps to FHD/15fps. Same error code.
4) Lastly, I figured maybe powering 2 channels takes too much power, so I unplugged the rear camera and only used the front. I still get the code overnight.

Does anyone have any suggestions/comments on things to try to troubleshoot his code? I googled the crap out of this and the most helpful post I could find was about adjusting the settings as to not trigger parking mode recording all the time. So far, my motion sensitivity is at the minimum and as stated, no G sensor triggering, so I don't see how I can further adjust my settings to lower current draw.

Thanks in advance!

I ran into something very similar.

BMWs throw codes when current draw exceeds 80mA while the care is fully asleep which is pretty low for multiple devices.

I had to reduce total draw below this threshold with my Dashcam and Obd2 connected gauges.

Try disconnecting your radar detector one day and see if you get codes, then do the opposite and disconnect the dashcam.

That will guide you. You may be forced to put the dashcam's connections only on switched fuses.
