Burble tune burns oil

I tried the mhd stage 2+ with burble tune and I go through a quart of oil a week. I got rid of the burble tune and can go a full 5000 miles without having to add a drop of oil. I tried the burble tune again to make sure and I started using a quart of oil a week. The burble tune is definitely not good for your engine. Why would I go through so much oil only on the burble tune?

Have you still not burned any oil?

I’m assuming it’s using the oil to create the pops

Burble tune works by igniting fuel in the exhaust manifold. Under deceleration, your injectors are normally turned completely off - no fuel. Burble tune keeps the injectors firing so your have unburned fuel making its way to the exhaust. This unburned fuel has the side effect of washing the oil off the cylinder walls. This cylinder wash effect is the reason you burn more oil with a burble tune.

Sounds like a bad idea. Would cause excess engine wear
