Good Melbourne indie?
Hi guys,
Any recommendations for a good indie mechanic in Melbourne, preferably in the eastern suburbs? I used to go to Active Motorwerke but they shut down. I need to get my cooling system changed because of leaks and I'm getting quoted $3400 for the water pump ($1275), thermostat ($250), and radiator ($600), which seems a bit high, especially since I can get the parts far cheaper (but probably not OE) from clickableautomotive. My plan would be to get those parts from clickableautomotive and find a good indie to install it all. Cheers, Rik. |

Thanks Eddie. Any other recommendations for places that will allow you to supply your own parts? Most places I've contacted require that they supply the parts. EasternBM seems to accept outside parts so that's good.

Hey Rik, I have a BMW 118i e87 2009. It's leaking oil where someone did a poor rocket gasket repair. Looking for someone to sort it out, and confirm it was their mistake. Can you help me? I'm in Rowville? Pete
