I don't think that any of the speaker brands who actually own a factory and glue speakers together make your E90 speakers. I strongly believe that you have them assembled in a Pacific Rim contract manufacturer - maybe one who also makes speakers for brands we would know - but that's a far cry from being made by Scan-Speak, or Dynaudio, or Morel, or SEAS, or even Rainbow. I might be wrong... but I believe it strongly. There's nothing wrong with having speaker factories assemble speakers - that's what they do - but your "wink, wink, I could tell you who makes these for us, but then I'd have to kill you" is disingenuous and not worthy of your product.

But they are more of a perfect match for Logic 7 cars than non-Logic 7 cars, if I understand correctly... and how well do they work for base audio deck-power 2010 US cars? Just want to understand all of the potential "time(s)" they can be perfect...

Interesting fun fact... was all over the news in December of last year...

I'm curious to know how this stacks up against the Individual Audio System in an e92...

I don't understand the drama that is happening in my thread really. I don't want to delve too deep into the matter that Micah and other fellow members are getting in to, but this is my honest review and I am in no way an audiophile or expert, what I can say is the clarity and precision in this upgrade system is noticeable and by no means are they chaining me infront of a computer and coaxing me into writing a positive review. This review is from me, and in no way is it intended to be some PR advertisement to push/boost their sales.

Individuals make reviews on products on this website whether free or not all the time, so why get ur panties bunched up in a huge ball for something I received for allowing access to my vehicle? Relax guys/gals....geez.

We are still in development on an IA solution at the moment, but we haven't had the opportunity to A/B delve in depth into a Logic7 w/ BSW vs. Individual Audio comparison -- don't want to make a comparison until we have more data.

How is the low end addressed? does 589.00 for the base HiFi include 2 subs, drop in replacements? because IMO thats where my system is lacking the most.

They aren't replaced with our Stage 1. We offer a separate package if you have a single exhaust car:

http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/pr...m-E90-E91-E92/

We're also working on a direct-fit under seat woofer replacement kit that will also include a PnP amp upgrade.

Micah,

Will this sub upgrade be available sometime in 2010, or is it more likely to come out in 2011?

Thanks,

Dawn

Sorry, but I can't give a firm timeline on this. The development of the woofer is really the key point. We are close to completing a first prototype, but we don't know if it's going to perform the way we expect or how many versions or updates we'll need to make. Just too many variables at play for us to say with certainty.

Well, it was your damned word! Talking about semantics is talking about the meanings of the words we use - in this case, the word you used. Point is, when anyone talks about their product being perfect for more than one thing, it rarely is.

Sorry, but it's not a "showroom" with demo vehicles -- it's a film studio / install bay for new product development and videography for BSW.

We are a unique company in that we do not have a physical location otherwise; our products ship from a distribution center in New York, and our guys and gals work from home and are spread throughout the country - some in Atlanta, some in Los Angeles, and some in San Diego. Without a physical office location, that allows us to keep our overhead down and spend more time working, which means you get better prices and better service!

My suggestion would be for you to find someone in the SD area who'll let you listen to their Stage 1.

Also, in case you didn't know, I just wanted to make you aware that all of our products are backed by a 30 day guarantee, so if you're not happy with something you purchase from us, you can return it within 30 days of the date it is received for a full refund, excluding shipping. Here are the details of that guarantee:

Install one in mine, and I'll guarantee to showcase it to anyone in San Diego that's wanting to listen.

Ha! We just may do that along with the subwoofer upgrades you'll be getting. We'll have to see what happens and what we have available. Can't make any promises just yet.

Thanks! You're gonna love the upgrade.

As for amp / sub upgrades, ETA is not currently available. We are in the beginning stages of development with those product lines so until we get closer to finished prototypes, etc. we just can't say -- too many variables at play. Best I can tell you is we'd LIKE to have the underseat woofers ready for Holidays 2010 and amp upgrade for Spring 2011. But nothing firm.

I've ordered the HiFi Stage1 for the E92 (although I have an E90) since just about everything is the same and thinking I would fabricate a rear tweeter mount (which is not included in the E92 kit). I bought the kit when it was still on sale and I am willing to sell the brand new E92 kit for less than current price at BSW site so I don't have to deal with any extra mods and then I can turn around and get the E90 kit. Let me know if you are interested.

Crazy kid! I tried to tell you it wouldn't work! :P

In case any of you are wondering, many of the parts ARE shared, but the big difference is the rear tweeters -- in the E90, they are 25mm mounted to a vehicle-specific mounting plate, and in the E92, they are 20mm that snap into the OEM housing in the rear side panels.

you need the specific front door drivers from a e92 or e93, e90 drivers won't fit. If no one else can help you out, I have mine but I think I'd rather hang on to them....

Micah,

Why don't you sell a full kit for the L7 E93? Looks like you only offer the front speakers.

Do you have speakers for the E93 rear side panels?

The rear side panel speakers are incredibly shallow and there is very low production volume. So, that means it would be a high cost speaker to develop with a small number of sales. It would dramatically increase the cost of the kit. It's not out of the question, but for now they aren't included to keep pricing reasonable.
