sorry IT question

I have donwloaded 2008-1 iso file and used both Isopro and Daemon Tools to mount the file and image burn to DVD using Roxio. DVD burns OK but I get the "Media cannot be read" message from the car's sat nav screen.

I've tried 5 times to no avail.

I also have the 2009-1 Business iso file but have no DL DVD's and this is too big for a SL DVD so thought I would test out the 2008-1 because it fits

If it helps I have a 56 Plate E90 with original 2006-2 Business Nav DVD

Can anyone help me?

Might be the type of media you are using, the last time i burned one i used dvd + R disc.

Why you mounting and everything else, all i did was use imgburn then burn disc image, select iso then burn at the slowest speed.

I have been using SONY DVD+R ?

Is it a re-writeable you could try a -R disc but i'm sure it's supposed to be +R discs.

No it's not a re-writeable

DVD+R/+RW discs should both work fine- just burn at a low (upto x4) speed & make sure they burn is finalised.

Verbatim, Sony & TDK DVD+R discs are all known to work fine.
