what vw forums did you advertise on out of interest?

i've never had joy on piston heads with my previous cars, full of time wasters! Never had joy on forums with cars either, parts i've sold went very quickly.

i think ebay and autotrader will be next on my list...
what i really need is a buyer off the forum!!!!

only giving £5400, nowhere enough to enable me to swap cars. its sickening to think my car is worth so little. there is a little garage down the road with about 15 cars, there are 54 plate puto's selling for the same as mine, i know they are cheaper on tax/insurance/fuel but still!

Have you advetised it on autotrader yet? If not get a move on and do it as most people on here will already have an E90, that's why they are here!!

Well I don't think that there is any point pleading for a sale and dropping the price until you've properly tested the market on Autorader.

What car did you go to see?

i went to see an e91 330d se in birmingham. it was a 56 plate with 70k, full bmw service history, 12 months MOT, months and from the pictures m-sport seats and steering wheel. all for £6599. sounded to good to be true and it was.

turned up to find it parked on the street out side the dodgest looking garage ever (repair garage not used car). look around the car and straight way noticed it has se seats and steering wheel. the guy said the pics where from another car he sold.the car was also filthy, at least clean it i thought!

once inside i tried to get into the service indicators but the option just was not there, i also noticed a yellow ! symbol on the dash and also a yellow door symbol, both signs that something was not right.
then i looked a the mot cert, it had failed because of a few minor things but has warning about the abs light on the dash.

At this point i walked away, did not even bother with test drive.
this now leaves me looking still.

we are a 1 car family so i can't really sell my car until i have another, i have family who will lend us the money to buy another car, i can then sell mine. i've not put it on autotrader yet because i need it until i buy another, my thinking was on the forum someone is more likley to wait a few weeks while i buy another.

Price reduced to £6250. just had over £2000 of warranty work done including new Face lift radio, Fixed the Air con and had the car recoded (All done at BMW Leicester)
its now on Autotrader and ebay.

ebay-- ive run mine 3 times and had lots of watchers (37 last time) and messages/offers but they only offer you about 1000 less than you put it up on say a buy-it-now price with nearest offer
usually its people after a bargin ,but traders also use ebay check out peoples other items and lots of offers from people with about 5 feedback ,an offer with no message first asking about the car seems a bit strange lol

prices seem to be stable at the minute. not too many 330d bargains about.

i've had a few dealers calling me, offering about £5400. for that money i can't afford to change so will have to keep it.
i am in two minds about changing because i now know i have a solid fault free car thats in great condition for the age, but in reality i do need a bigger car for the family.

i might try ebay this week. my autotrader ad runs out on sunday.

I managed to sell mine, a guy turned up and wanted a red 325i coupe low mileage with bluetooth
I got alot more than wbac and traders offers

dont listen to the people in here theyre all used to their 335i's with every extra fitted theyve become immune to how good the 3 series is ,its a massive amount of car for the price of a citroen c1

If you're only selling because of the baby, I'd recommend don't. We have two young children and our e90 is fine. For 99.9% of the time. We sold out first e90 for the very reason of expecting children and are still regretting it.
