The 3GS is either 32GB or 16GB.

I have a 16 which is more than sufficient for me.

If anyone needs some info, I am not bad with the old Purplerain/redsnow etc.

Not strictly true, you dont get visual voicemail with any other supplier (which you wont care about) and tethering is made more difficult with some suppliers (although again you wont care)

For a total novice who NEVER wants to worry about what their phone is doing, and buys music via ITunes etc, I would say stick with 02.

Jailbreaking etc does require a tiny bit of nouse.

I have 32Gb, How can i confirm its 3gs?

also when on net, it only comes up 3g not 3gs

It is a 3GS - the 3G(nonS) never came in a 32Gb version

Ok cheers, so i now know i have the 3GS.

Now when im on the net on it, it when i have good signal comes up with 3G and its much faster than when it does not have this.... it never says 3GS though?

I appreciate the link, but it appears it is not working. I get/got the following message

VV is a tarif issue, so yes that wont work as we wont have the iphone tarif, on tethering it works perfectly with all networks (not tried on the three network yet myself though).

The easiest way to set everything up is to download a modified ipcc file and bingo everything (inc tethering) works perfectly (except VV as above)

Coodem - You have to be quick with the links as they get moved/removed/deleted all the time and pretty quickly.

have you enabled 3gs in the settings carlos and if so what network are you on as my mates on orange and has never seen the 3gs on his screen.
