Yep, mine rub also!!!

spy,

Okay, I received my AluFelgen 19" 235 & 275 package today and my rear tires definately rub when I go over a slight bump. Stock Sport Suspension and 19x9.5" ET30 offset with 275/30-19 General Exclaim UHP's on the rear.

They look cool as $h*!, but they rub - just not sure WHERE yet! Check 'em out!

You'll be fine w/ a rear fender roll.

To the OP, you'd be better off with 235's in the front.

Damn! Maybe it's my rear tires finally
Btw your ride looks awesome man!

In my case I think i'm going to live with it...maybe 235/265 next time or a different brand of tires.

I think this is an issue isolated to the square sidewalls of the Generals. We have customers running Michellins, Goodyears and Bridgestone RE-11 275s with no rubbing at all even on lowered suspension.

AluFelgen, yes there's a rubbing issue with the 275/30-19 General Exclaim UHP on the
19x9.5 ET30 CS7 wheels on E90 with totally stock Sport Suspension. A tiny veeeeeeep over slight dips in the roadway. But, I wanted the widest tire possible - a simple fender roll might take care of the problem. It is a gorgeous package, I couldn't be happier!

what about the BF Goodrich KDW2?
is that also a squared tire more chance of rubbing?

people run 285/25/20's on coupes. So im pretty sure 275 isnt too wide for a coupe especially on a 19" wheel

Wow, I'd be bumming if I just put out some serious coin and ended up with a wheel tire combo that rubs and requires a fender roll.

They do look really good though

HeelToe,

There was always the chance of rubbing with the wheel/tire combo I'm running. It's really only the slightest touching over dips. The biggest problem is I live in FARM CENTRAL here in Iowa - read: this state does not have a car culture!!! No idea where I'd find someone to roll fenders in a place where people don't care about their cars.

I am running CS7 wheels with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 275/30/19 rears on a stock non lowered sports suspension and have never rubbed once during normally very spirited driving and I live in Indiana where we have some very bad roads after the winter.

Hey spy,

I took off my rear wheels today and took a good look up in the wheel well. I am NOT rubbing on the fender, just that carpeted inner fender liner back there - just inside the fender lip. I'd be interested to hear WHERE you're rubbing. Sounds like we're all over the spectrum on this issue.

Hrm, OP, did you look at the side walls for your tires? When you rub, typically you can find cut marks on the sidewalls of ur tires. That will help you identify where you are rubbing. Check your front tires and rears to make sure its the rear that is rubbing. Im running 245/35/19 in the front on et35 19x8.5 v710s on re11s and havent noticed rubbing yet. Im lowered on kw v2s so my camber is almost -1 and i still have more testing to do for rubbing during hard turns, but havent been able to find space to test it out yet .

you will also see rub marks on the tires or on the fender liner. It wont cut the tires if its not a sharp edge its rubbing against.

That what we figured! You could trim the piece a little to prevent it from rubbing it. I`ll be really surprise you are rubbing your fenders with this setup since we are running the same setup in several dozen other cars and have experienced no rubbing at all.

I also took off a rear wheel today and i'm rubbing at the same place. No problem at all to cut a tire or break something. But that noise... makes me crazy lol
