After being on stock suspension for 20 years now, I finally decided to get to coilovers. In the last couple of months, I've installed a set of ST XTA coilovers with whiteline sway bar end links in the front, off of FCPEuro. Upon unboxing, the coilovers came re-packed (clearly returned by a previous customer) with some paint chips on the springs, dings on other parts, and the band compressing one of the struts was completely absent from the package. Since it only seemed to be cosmetic damage, I decided to roll with it... but I'm disappointed in FCPEuro's QC this time around.
Here's what they look like installed in the wheel wells: And here is the old set with the old, bent sway bars: I'm still getting a feel for them on the road and adjusting the settings to my liking, but I'll be updating soon with my full thoughts. |
