E91 Main beam not working after Xenon install
Hi All,
New to posting, but been reading a while and appreciate this topic has been done to death but I can't find quite what the solution is. I have a pair of Xenon lights with part numbers - left side: 6942739, right side: 6942740, and to control these I have an LCM PL2 FRM II with part number: 9166708. The module has been coded to the car and no warning lights come on when this is connected. To fit the lights I have tried to adapt the wiring, I have connected pin #2 to pin #4 (ground) and connected pin #5 to pin #6 for the main beam. The angle eye side light is fine as is the dipped beam, but the main beam does not work. The xenon lamp doesn't move when the stalk is pushed forward nor does the halogen outer lamp flash when the stalk is pulled. Is there something I have missed or have done wrong? Cheers, Andy |

Just out of curiosity- did you do a halogen to xenon conversion? Considering doing this on my E91 but am hesitant to with swapping FRMs and coding. |

Yes, I am attempting a halogen to xenon conversion. I haven't fitted the lights properly yet as I wanted to be sure everything works before removing the old one and bumper etc. I didn't do the coding myself, just bought an FRM from eBay and it was coded by ICodeBMW in Coventry. Cheers, Andy |
