What is the Difference between BarberaRot / DamastRot / KastanienBraun??

They all look (almost exactly!) the same in the pictures I've seen - it depends on the lighting!?!

Any side by sides for comparison.

The numbers weren't lying to me when I saw how many they made in this color. This thread has been dead for over 6 months!

The only decent photos I have right now since the weather hasn't been the absolute best.

I just bought a 2008 E91 328xi in Barbera Red. I'm VERY happy not to have one of the rather boring black, white or silver cars that are excessively popular today. We need more color on the roads!!

This car has just about every package and accessory except the Xenon headlights, and also has the rare six-speed manual transmission. It's at 98K miles, and runs like a watch.

Picked up a 2007 335i auto w/Dakota beige interior this month. When I saw pictures before buying I thought it looked Ok for the right price. When I saw it in person I thought I was getting a steal.

Looks like I'm going to be adopting the family E93 which was special ordered with 6MT and most of the other cool options, it's Barbera/Saddle. Going to do a low-budget update (by E90 M3 standards, everything 335i related is budget) with LCI tails, some wheels/tires that don't suck, and a couple minor suspension upgrades and try and cobble together the parts for a CIC conversion.

Hey guys, I’m Finn. This is my first car, I had no clue there was a whole forum dedicated to this color and this body style haha.
For those curious it’s a 2007 E90 328i with the M suspension package, sport steering wheel, and factory alloy rims. Bone stock thus far. It’s obviously in barberarot metallic red with senatec beige car with burr walnut fine wood trim and sports seats.

wow this chat is dead anyone still active with a barbera red e9x? i have a 2009 335i e90 it’s LCI and has mostly everything it can possibly come with except M sport bumpers but has M sport suspension, parking sensors, Sport steering wheel, sport seats, etc. Absoluetly love this car and wanted to see anyone else’s barbers red e9x as i have never seen a 335i with this color. I’ve seen an e60 before in person but not 3 series. mine is undergoing a manual swap and getting some bigger turbos put on. She’s a blast to drive everytime and will be more fun once i’m banging gears. I have M sport bumpers front and rear on the way cause i got backed into so now im rocking that used temporary unpainted bumper.

Just found about this forum! Big fan of this color.
Here’s my e92, I did get the front bumper, hood, and roof repainted since for some reason this color can get clear coat peeling very easily. I’ve been on the hunt for an M sport front bumper conversion for a long time.
