Spacers for E82 w/261 Wheels
I'm looking for a temporary solution to giving my 135i a more aggressive look while I decide on an alternate set of wheels and suspension. I hate the way the the wheels look tucked in although the wider rear track helps a little. The car is stock with 18" 261M wheels, what spacers would be suitable for front and rear axles just to push the wheels out a little, retaining the wider rear track-look?

Hey. I've been running 15mm front and 12mm rear spacers on my E82 with 261m wheels. It was rub-free before I installed Dinan suspension and M3 wishbones, and now I get the slightest rub only over the worst highway dips.
You can search for some of my old posts for pictures. Hope that helps. Cheers, Bryan

This would be your car with the above mentioned spacers? - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=690941 Looks good if so, very flush front and rear. I am hoping to retain the wider wear look though so perhaps 10mm or 12mm all round or 10mm front & 12mm rear would suit me. |

As for keeping the staggered look, I think it's more the shape of the car that does that. The spacers just move the wheels out to fill the arches. I think you'd achieve the look you're after and be happy with 15mm front and 12mm rear with a stock set-up. Cheers, Bryan PS> I can't see photos on my computer at work, so I can't find the classifieds thread I mentioned below. Have another quick search for my post with those other pictures. If you don't find it, I'll have a look tonight from home.

I ran 15mm rear and 12mm front on stock m sport suspension no issues at all! Very aggressive and got tons of compliments. I used the burger tuning (BMS) spacers and would HIGHLY recommend them
Feel free to search my user name for threads started it was my intro thread that had the spacer pics!
