BMW Performance Exhaust, feedback pls
hey guys so I ordered the exhaust last Thursday, and it is here TODAY! needless to say I'm excited, but I did notice something on the tips that I'd thought I'd run by here to see if this is factory and if it's not, if it's a big deal enough to where I should discuss replacement with where I purchased it.
Basically one of the exhaust tips is not a perfect circle, the bottom of it looks flat compared to the other tip. I didn't see any evidence of damage on the box or on the tip itself, just doesn't look perfectly formed, almost to where it seems factory so I'd like some1 with a PE to verify. From a few feet away you can't tell. Pics below:

You can find a large metal cone and a 5lb hammer to make it a perfect circle, just don't hammer too hard. An exhaust shop might be able to do it for you cheap too.

install shop says they make it look better, but not OEM by doing the cone thing suggested by lowbudgethero
does anyone actually have experience doing that? how close to normal should it come? should i even be dealing with this or should i just ask for a refund/exchange.. sounds extreme but if you spend 850+ install, you want it to come out right.. right? heh

I've done it before with a different car and making a custom stainless exhaust, it's really easy to do

You can also buy one at any Harbor Freight or autoparts store.

Looks great. It would have been tough to spot even without any attempts to fix.
