FYI Gents,
Going to remove and sell the SR2 Carbon sunroof delete from my E92 m3. I’ll be removing the roof for cage work and going to just replace the whole thing with a carbon one. Checking interest at $400. Will remove and clean it up. Happy to ship at cost.

So NRW sent a new carbon roof panel. Looked great, but fitment wasn't as good as the chipped panel. Anyway, I sold the new panel to a forum member and put the chipped panel back in. What a headache that was.
I was told 2 more months of waiting for my Stoptech BBK so I told them to just cancel the order. Funny, 20 minutes later I get an email that my brakes have shipped. Maybe a coincidence... The Trophy kit came and it looks fantastic. I weighed the stock brakes at 15 lbs and the Trophy kit at 12 lbs (including: Caliper, Pads, Brackets, Lines). I will need to redo my brake cooling setup since I mistakenly have the duct pointed at the outside of the rotor disk diameter instead of the inside rotor hat. I threw the new kit on to check fitment while I wait for the new splash shields. I found no issues with clearance. Trophy: With Wheel:

I altered my brake cooling ducts to aim at the center of the disc. The total weight savings of the Stoptech Trophy kit, including rotors, was 4 lbs of un-sprung weight per side.
Next project is to try and balance the aero with a front splitter. This is a 4" splitter I cut from 1/2" Birch. I will alter the Clinched front splitter to mate with the wooden splitter so that it is air tight. Next is to figure out the best way to mount it to the front subframe.

Got the splitter mounted using 4 Professional Awesomes splitter rods and M10 bolts into the subframe. The splitter clevis for the sides fit perfectly into the bumper bar mount threads, very convenient. I drilled into the bumper for the 2 front splitter clevis mounts.

Thanks, the 18" rods were plenty long enough. I think I cut the rear rod lengths to ~12" or so.

Here's the final product. I rounded the front edge and painted it black. Splitter and hardware adds 15lbs to the front. Came out ok, I should probably ditch the OEM undertray and drill the bottom bumper mounts direct to the splitter. The very ends of the splitter aren't as solid as I'd like, but ok for now.
It also sits low, about 85mm of clearance to the ground. I'll need to add some delrin pucks to the bottom or this thing won't last very long. Or potentially add some ride height to the front.

It'd be interesting to see aero details. Are you familiar with the idea of taping little pieces of yarn all over the place, and then driving around with another person nearby filming it? The gist is that the yarn will go different directions, and either stay put or flip around, and give you an idea how the flow is going.

Your build is coming along quite nice and I'm def diggin your BBK. Do you mind if I ask where you purchased your Stoptech BBK from? I ordered mine mid May from buybrakes and they stated a 3 month wait (Aug 2023).

It'll probably be longer than that, I waited 8 months before mine shipped. I got them from CSPRacing, but seems like they all ship directly from the factory.

I followed this guys DIY for the E90. He goes over every step in detail. This video is the last of a 3 part series and covers the wiring.
