No actually the m3 replica/oem provides more air flow to the intercooler, oil cooler and brake ducts.

The replica fender would have no purpose. You couldnt run a wider rim...

M3 fenders are only functional when they are wider to accommodate larger rim/tires.

The one thing I can say would be a cool thing for a vendor to produce is a m3 wide front conversion that lets you keep the stock e92 hood, headlight brackets, and radiator support.

I will buy that kit if you can get that made
