Factory components distort at lower volume and you get less USABLE volume, which is what I said above, not that BSW components are louder. If you were to do an SPL measurement, stock would be louder at the same power but it doesn't matter if you can't actually listen to it without it sounding absolutely awful.

Ahh. Ok, this makes sense. Which is why the under seat woofers are more obvious now. (ie: you realize more bass than before since the oems were drowning them out)
