i have this problem on my 2007 335i e90 stage 1 tune. after i replaced my battery some of my lights would come on at random times on my cluster. my speedo and rpms would reset and go back to normal as well as the gas gauge if i were driving. it does not effect the motor or power it's all there. my i drive would flicker and reset as well. i'm not the only one that has/had this problem i seen on here in forums but NOT ONE person has put the fix out there.

So the link you provided has a lot of good information that has been provided by George, have you attempted to do any of the troubleshooting he suggested like checking voltage for the vehicle?

ended up being a bad cluster
