N55 Starter/alternator power cable replacement

The B+ power cable going from the positive battery terminal in the engine bay, that goes to the starter and alternator has fraid and melted in my N55 E90.

I got a new cable, is it possible to get to just the cable connection on the starter and remove that 13mm bolt without removing the intake manifold?

Probably, give it a shot and see if it can be done and worse case Ontario you need to pull the intake manifold. Even if you do you probably wont need to remove it completely. The 13mm nut points towards the front of the car so you should have no problem getting a socket on it as long as there's enough space.
You probably won't be able to see what you're doing so just go based off of feel, and make sure to disconnect the battery lmao

Yea I was going to start pulling things apart to see how much room I can get down there and see how many sockets I lose.

I did it on my E82 last year and had to pull the intake sligthly to access the starter bolt. Not a big deal and it makes the whole process much easier.
