Hey everyone, I ordered some new vanos seals for my 2010 BMW 320i N46 Engine so I pulled them all out gave then a quick wipe down, new seals on Olds off, I put all back in wire connected and it makes this knocking sound or a clicking, After a second time trying to start it it just cuts out now and getting a CEL! Please help me guys!!!

Did you mix up the connectors?

Also, are you cetrain one of the o-rings didn't stay in the block when you pulled the solenoids out?

Omg I'm sorry for overreacting so I pulled them out again but what I thought was seated indeed wasn't it could go inside a little bit more but.... after a little tiny rest drive I just went on its got a weird hummm when accelerating? It's like brrrr, brrrr, brrr, when accelerating past half way accelerating would this be due to me possibly getting a engine power reduce warning when I had that trouble just before?

Sorry and to answer your questions I didn't mess up the connectors/forget an oring. I'm just so much in a rush and thought they were fully seated 🤦
