I got a used low mileage one from eBay. $30. Lubed up the spindle real well top and bottom with some 20 year old white lithium grease I found in the garage. Dead quiet. Try lubing yours up before replacing, see if it makes a difference

You can take off the protective cap to get to the bottom part of the spindle. Spray, spin the fan, spray, repeat until satisfied

I replaced with a $60 something aftermarket one from Amazon, fixed my dead fan and works great without excessive noise.

This: $80 now…
