It's an MP3 jukebox. Think of it as a substitute for a 6-disk CD changer except that it stores countless tracks in MP3 format and doesn't store CDs. Therefore, it can store a lot more music than a CD changer without the fuss of handling CDs. It mounts in the trunk much like a CD changer and is controlled through the stereo head unit (if compatible.)
